Spiritual blindness is being spiritually undiscerning. The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually undiscerned." This means that to a spiritually blind individual, spiritual things are meaningless.
There are many causes for spiritual blindness, such as Satan, pride, ignorance, following blind guides, caring what others think, and more.
A lot of that is going on today. I have been bound to spiritual blindness myself in certain seasons of my life. It took a lot of analyzing the circumstance and tracing patterns and cycles; I had to research my maternal bloodline. I also studied situations in my paternal lineage, and thanks to God, gradually, the scales started falling off. I didn’t need another man to tell me what I was up against spiritually; it took a lot of homework on my part, which later were confirmed to me. Having a personal relationship with God is essential; I can’t stress this enough.
Unfortunately, the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God" (2 Corinthians 4:4).
I pray that we will become spiritually discerning, so we are not tossed around on the earth's surface and not know it.
